On June 18, 2025 Leroy R. Long age 90 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Leroy was born in Sparrows Point, Maryland to his late parents Maurry and Philomena Long (nee Dapkus); Leroy was the beloved husband of the late Charlotte Jean Long; devoted father of Linda Newcomer (Michael), and the late Mark Long; cherished grandfather of Angela Abuan, and Phedra Poole; dear brother of the late George Long, Philomena McCardell, Elwood Long, and Beverly Beesnan.

A graveside service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens (10201 Bird River Road, Baltimore, MD 21220) on Wednesday June 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
