On June 24, 2024, Lawrence Francis Gonzales passed away peacefully in Baltimore, MD. He was beloved husband of 38 years to Amy, devoted father of Heather and Brian; loving step-son of Inge, loving sibling of David and his wife Heidi,  and Linda and her husband John; loving step-brother of Anita and Elizabeth; dear brother-in-law of Laurie and her husband Lyndon; cherished uncle of Brandon, Jonathan, Taylor, Sabrina, Adam, Ashley and Megan.

A devoted priest of the New Apostolic Church and a beloved servant leader within the congregation. Lawrence departed from us by leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and joy.

Throughout his life, Lawrence was known for his kind-hearted nature, his loving spirit, and his quirky sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to light up any room he entered, spreading positivity and laughter wherever he went. His genuine warmth and compassion touched the lives of countless individuals within the church community and beyond.

Apart from his devotion to others, Lawrence had a deep love for his furbabies, cherishing their companionship and bringing joy into their lives as they did into his. He also had a keen interest in solar and computer technology, which he pursued as a hobby, reflecting his curiosity.

Lawrence will lie-in-state on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the New Apostolic Church, 1910 Putty Hill Ave, Parkville, MD 21234 from 10am to 11am. The funeral celebration will begin at 11:30am with a light reception to follow.
