On March 2, 2026, Laverne Claudia Kaczmarek passed away peacefully in Parkville, Maryland. Laverne is survived by her beloved Husband Edward A. Kaczmarek, Sr. Loving mother of Laura A. Hofmann (Bob), Edward A. Kaczmarek, Jr. (Brenda). Cherished grandmother of Bobby Hofmann (Lauren) and Julie Mangione (Joseph),  and also survived by three great grandchildren.  Laverne was pre-deceased by her brother Melvin C. Lumpkin lll.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at the OakCrest Chapel  located at 8820 Walther Blvd, Parkville Maryland 21234, on Saturday April 11th 2026 at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers: Donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org will be appreciated.
