On October 9, 2024, Katherine M. Salyer, beloved wife of Bertrum Jerry Salyer; devoted mother of Vicky S. Smelkinson and her husband Morry, Penny G. Finnen and her husband Michael and Robin A. Hart and her husband Otto; loving grandmother of Hal Ray Stiles and his wife Emily, Nicole R. Tinnell, Tara Smelkinson, Jonathan Smelkinson and his wife Ash, Stephanie Brooks and her husband Kelby, Matthew Todd Hart and Christopher L. Hart and his wife Ashley; cherished great grandmother of Corey Tinnell, Casey Junkin, Finn Brooks, Thatcher Brooks, Sailor Mae Hart and Harrison Hart.

Visitation will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Monday from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment, Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
