Judith Ann Johnston Morgan

Judith "Judie" Ann Johnston Morgan, 78, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, under the care of Hospice near her home.

Born on August 30, 1947, in Irwin, Pennsylvania, Judie was the daughter of Stephen and Elfriede Johnston. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Carole Johnston and Jean Lawson; her brother, Bill Johnston; and her beloved husband of 55 years, James A. Morgan III.

Judie is survived by her two sons, Jim (Mary Jane) and Steve (Shannon), and her four cherished grandchildren, TJ, Julia, Finn, and Mady, who brought her endless joy.

In 1978, Judie and Jim moved their family from Pennsylvania to Lutherville, Maryland, where they made their home for the rest of their lives. Judie worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 20 years, where she was known for her strong work ethic. Outside of work, she devoted herself to her family and friends.

Judie was a loving and devoted mother who could always be found cheering from the sidelines at her sons' sporting events. She loved playing bridge with her close circle of friends, traveling with Jim, and spending summer days at the pool surrounded by laughter and companionship. Above all, Judie treasured every moment with her grandchildren, doting on them whenever she had the chance.
