On September 22, 2010, Sgt. Major J.P. Russell Roberts, Jr. Beloved husband of Carol A. Roberts (nee Powers. Dear father of J.P. III. Devoted stepfather of Deena and her husband Kenneth MacDonald III., Charles (Chuck,) James and the late William Thorpe. He is also survived by his step-grandsons Kenneth MacDonald lV and Daniel and Mark Thorpe, two step-great-grandchildren, two brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, caring fellow employees, friends and neighbors. Sgt. Major Roberts served for thirty years in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Funeral services will be held at Nazareth Lutheran Church 3401 Bank Street (at Highland Avenue) Baltimore, Maryland 21224 Tuesday 10:00 AM. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.
