Joseph John Miceli was born to Joseph Paul Miceli & Lena Rachel Miceli (nee Broccolina) on May 9, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland. Joe had younger brother, John Joseph who preceded his death along with his parents. Joe's father died in 1971 and his mother in 1979. Joe lived with his parents until their death. He was very close to his mother and always has missed her. Joe would always love to visit his
mother's grave on Mother's Day with flowers. After the death of his mother, he lived with his brother and his wife until he decided to enter the program at L.I.F.E., Inc. where Joe has been the longest client as a resident since 1986. He entered the Woodbourne School for children with special needs at the age of 5 and later graduated with his high school degree. He liked school and his relationships with peers were
always positive. He was an active member for many years of the Catholic, fraternal Order of the Knights of Columbus and received the honors of the Knighthood Degree in 1978. He was employed with the Social Security Administration for 14 years and retired in 1986. He had his driver's license and his own car for work transportation and more. He entered the Athelas Institute, Inc. in 1987 and was provided support and employment for many years.

Joseph leaves behind his sister-in-law, Jean Miceli Benhoff, his nephew, Michael John Miceli,
niece, Angela Miceli Ruiz, great niece, great nephews and extended family and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Friday, April 25th, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, at which time a Funeral Service will begin.  Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
