On February 10, 2010 Johnnie R. Carter devoted father of Johnnie R. Carter, Jr., step father of Diana Wainwright; dear brother of Louise Jackson and Dr. Wilbert J. Carter; loving grandfather of Molly M. Carter and Johnnie R. Carter, III; devoted friend of Callota Walsh; also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.



Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26) on Thursday Feb. 25 from 4-9 PM. Mr. Carter will lie-in-repose at New Metropolitan Baptist Church; 1501 McCulloh St. on Friday Feb. 26th from 11:00-11:30 AM at which time a Funeral Service will be held. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
