On July 21, 2025 John Lee Wright, Jr. passed away. John was the son of the late John Lee Wright, Sr. and the late Blanche Viola Wright (nee Weddle); husband of the late Margaret A. Wright; father of Belinda A. Schirmer (David), and Will Wright (Wendy); step-father of Erin Lambeth, Shirley Cooper, Brenda Cooper, Kathy Cooper, Roger Cooper, Carol Cooper, and the late Joseph Frank (Darlene); grandfather of Danielle Schirmer, Samantha Schirmer, and Cassidy Schirmer, Jennifer Sylvia; great-grandfather of Jack Schirmer, David VanPelt, and Anastasia VanPelt.

John was a US Navy veteran serving from 1951-1955. During his Navy service he spent time serving on the USS Red Pole.

A funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Monday July 28, 2025 at 11 AM. Friends may visit on Monday July 28, 2025 from 10-11 AM. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
