On August 25, 2009, John Thomas Sappington, Sr., beloved husband of Rosemary Sappington, devoted father of Patricia Esteppe, John T. Sappington, Jr. and Rosemary E. Maddox, dear brother of Helen Jean Alayea and the late Francis and William Sappington, Jr. Also survived by six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Thursday and Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
