On June 8, 2010 John Morekas; beloved husband of Helen J. Morekas (nee Karukas); devoted father of Karen Kotapka of Narberth, Pa., Spero Morekas and his wife Lisa and Demi Morekas of Melbourne Beach Fl.; dear brother of Sam Morekas and his wife June; brother in law of Helen K. Morekas; grandfather of John Morekas. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm where a Trisaghion service will be held at 7pm. Mr. Morekas will lie in state at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation on Friday from 10:30 until 11:00am at which time funeral services will be held. Interment Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
