John Lloyd
Mcloughlin
d. Apr 25, 2026
It is with heavy hearts we announce that John L. McLoughlin passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, at 56 years old. Born in New York, he moved to Baltimore and attended Dulaney High School. He later attended Georgetown University, where he met and married Justin, his wife of 34 years. After college, John and Justin moved to Baltimore, where he built a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and deep connection to the people around him.
John was widely loved by all who knew him and had a rare ability to make everyone feel like family. His presence brought energy and laughter into every room. He was deeply devoted to his family—especially his wife Justin and three children Maggie, Jack and his wife Sarvani, and Brett, who were the center of his world. John had a distinguished 38-year career as President and owner of One Source Associates. He worked tirelessly to build a meaningful company through sheer determination and pride in his work.
Outside of his career and family life, he enjoyed playing tennis and golf with friends. He was known for his musical talent as a piano player, released three studio albums, and performed as the singer of the John LT Band. He made a lasting impact on everyone he met, and his influence will continue to be felt through the countless lives he touched.
John is also survived by his mother, Joan; sister, Laura (Bryan); nephews, Nicholas and Zachary; niece, Ashlyn and by extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his father John.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 20 E Ridgely Rd, Timonium, MD 21093, on Saturday, May 2nd, at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, John would appreciate a donation to Helping Up Mission or MusiCares in his name.
