On February 24, 2026, John Alan Kerns, former spouse of Mary Kerns; devoted father of Christine Fatkin and her husband Andy, Brian Kerns and his wife Carmen, Jennifer Waszelewski and her husband Todd and Ryan Kerns and his wife Kyleen; loving grandfather of Stephanie Mullin and her husband James, Savannah Kerns, Samuel Fatkin, Benjamin Fatkin, Marin Waszelewski, Thomas Waszelewski, Kilian Kerns and Kyra Kerns; cherished great grandfather of Christopher Mullin; loving son of the late Lester Kerns and Velma Valentine Kerns; dear brother of the late James Kerns.

The family will receive friends at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Saturday from 3-4 PM. A memorial service will begin at 4 PM. Interment, Private.
