On September 27, 2011, John Paul Gilka, beloved husband of Helen Elizabeth (nee Giese); devoted father of Paul E. Gilka and his wife Lillian, Mary E. Bell and her husband Louis, Angela R. Toal and her husband Robert, and Elaine C. Strong and her husband Allen; dear brother of the late Ruth Gilka and Leonard Gilka; loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church on Saturday, 10am. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
