On April 6, 2010 Joan Nizer, retired from Baltimore City Police Dept. on Oct 2007, after 27 Years of Service, beloved daughter of the late Theresa E. (nee Schleupner) and George B. Nizer, Sr., loving sister of George B. Nizer, Jr. and John G. Nizer and the late Nelson R. Nizer, sister-in-law of Bertha and Sharon Nizer. Also survived by eight nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews.

A funeral services will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26A) on Monday, April 12 at 11 A.M. Internment private. Friends may call on Sunday, April 11 from 3-6 P.M. Family suggests contributions may be made to the Maryland School for the Blind 3501 Taylor Ave Parkville, MD 21236.
