On July 24, 2025, Jo-Anne Smith Christensen died peacefully in Lutherville, Maryland. Jo-Anne is predeceased by her parents Joseph Pierre Smith and Isabella Tully Smith, her beloved husband Theodore C. Christensen, Sr. and by her loving son Theodore C. Christensen, Jr. She is survived by her devoted daughter Colleen Novotny, her son in law Len Novotny and her daughter in law Melissa Christensen. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Brian, Meghan, Dan, Mary Beth, Charlie, Joe and Georgie, and her dear sister Patricia Stevens and her husband Michael, as well as other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception 200 Ware Ave. Towson, MD. 21204 on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 10AM. Interment, private.
