On December 7, 2024, Jim (Ellsworth) Howard Herman, beloved husband of 56 years to Barbara A. Herman (nee Magruder); devoted father of Mollie Kessel and her husband Tony and Melissa Cremen and her husband Mike; loving grandfather of Katie Barrow and her husband Ricky, Nicole McMillan and her husband Brandon, Brandon Kessel and the late Jeremy Kessel; cherished great grandfather of Jaxson Barrow, Charlie McMillan, Brandon McMillan, Elizabeth Kessel, Ayden McMillan and predeceased by several other great grandchildren; dear son of the late George and Cora May Herman; brother in law of Judy and Jim Dick and Dan and Kim Magruder; uncle of Stacey Dick; also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment, Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
