On November 3, 2011 JESSIE H. BESORE', (nee Harrison), died peacefully at the age of 94; beloved wife of C. Edwin Besore' for 60 years; beloved mother of Linda B. Miller of Towson, Anne B. Stephanus, of Baltimore and mother-in-law of Owen D. Miller; grandmother of Douglas Owen Miller and great-grandmother of two of Baltimore. Mrs. Besore' was born 5 weeks premature at home in Easton, Pennsylvania on July 4, 1917 and graduated from Easton High School in 1935, and from Goucher College in 1939. She married C. Edwin Besore' in 1940 and they resided in Towson for most of their lives, moving to Broadmead in 1991. For many years Mrs. Besore' bowled with the Roland Run Club duckpin league. She worked 8 1/2 years as a volunteer at Union Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Towson Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Women's Club of Towson. She played bridge for many years and was active in the bridge club at Broadmead, where she resided for 20 years. Mr. Besore' died in 2000.
