On May 22, 2026, Jerome Edward Kersch passed away in Baltimore, MD. He is the beloved husband of Mary Teresa Kersch (nee Hamilton); devoted father of Anna Leonard and her husband Richard and David Kersch and his wife Jennifer; loving grandfather of Traci McNeal and her husband John, Madeleine Kersch, Garrett Kersch, and Benjamin Kersch; cherished great-grandfather of Emmitt McNeal and Griffin McNeal. Jerome is pre-deceased by his four-legged best friend Sam.

Jerome was an avid Orioles and Ravens Fan as well as a connoisseur of word search puzzles and music.

The family will receive friends at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd, Towson, MD on Thursday, May 28th from 3:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ursula Catholic Church on Friday, May 29th at 11:30am. The interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
