On June 14, 2025 Jennie Marie Smith; beloved wife of the late Richard K. Smith; devoted mother of Mike Downes (Michele), and the late Jennie Marie Jones; cherished grandmother of Shawn Downes (Valerie) Mike Downes, Jr. (Kate), Lori Downes (Kelley), Matthew Downes (Renee), Tommy Zimmerman, and Tara Zimmerman, dear sister of the late Agnes King. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave on Wednesday, July 16th, from 5-8 PM. A graveside service and interment will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville on Thursday, July 17th, at 10:45 AM.
