Jean Elizabeth Cline Dunn was born on April 10, 1936 in Boston, Massachusetts, to Mary Elizabeth Hanley Cline and Edward Michael Cline.  She had two sisters, Carol and Mary.

After graduating high school, Jean worked as model for The Walters Academy.  Jean then worked at the W.B. Donor Advertising agency as a typist/secretary where she would meet her future husband, Dennis F. Dunn, Jr.  Jean and Dennis married on December 3, 1956.  They had three sons: Casey, Kevin, and Kerry.

Despite never attending college, Jean competed on the television show, "Jeopardy," then hosted by Art Fleming, where she amazingly became a 3-time champion.

Jean was a devoted housewife and mother, focused on raising her children while Dennis earned a good income in various television jobs.  Jean would go on to be an office manager in banking and then for GYBC (Greater Baltimore Yoga Center), a 'second home' where she continued until just a few years ago.

Her son Casey married Barbara Watts and they have two daughters, Stephanie, now married to Carter Neal and mother to Lucy, Violet and Mabel Neal… and Caitlin, married to Andrew Blackmon and mother to Leah, Audrey and Georgia Blackmon.

Kevin is father to Kyle, Aidan, and Shannon Dunn and is now married to Lisa Fox.

Kerry has echoed Jean with his independent spirit and recently retired from SpaceX.  He is now pursuing world travel.

With her 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and bevy of friends - most notably from yoga - there is no shortage of mutual love. Jean's selflessness and class will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at Ruck Funeral Home in Towson on February 7, 2026, at 11 am.
