Jean E. Armiger

Jean E. Armiger (née Christopher) passed away peacefully at her home in Pikesville, Maryland, on October 18, 2026. Born in Baltimore on March 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Christine Christopher.Jean is survived by her beloved sisters, Esterine Christopher, Diane Fiori (Frank), and Rose Abendschein. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Young.She is also a cherished aunt to Michael Young (Deborah), Brian Young (Patricia), Christine Davies (Michael), Jennifer Lantz (Paul), Lori Fiori, Frank Fiori Jr., and Stacey Fiori, as well as nine great-nieces and great-nephews, a great-great-niece, and a great-great-nephew. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stuart. She is also lovingly remembered by Stuart’s children, Mindy Stader (Bob) and Beth Tinsley; his grandchildren, Justin Leitch, Jilian Schreiner (Dave), Marcus Stader, and Tory Stader (Toni); and his great-grandchildren, Cameron Leitch, Gavin Schreiner, and Quinten Schreiner. Jean loved to travel and experience new places, but family was always closest to her heart. Her generous spirit and love for those around her will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Ruck Towson Funeral Home (Beltway Exit 26) on Wednesday, October 28, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
