On April 10, 2025 Janette Allen Moore passed away peacefully in Dallastown, PA. She is survived by her devoted son-in-law Philip J. Casagrande, loving grandmother to Shaun R. Casagrande (Becky Minnick and family), and cherished great grandmother to Brian Casagrande. She is predeceased by her husband Wilmer Eugene Moore, her daughter Candice "Candy" J. Casagrande and her brother Douglas Manning.

In loving memory of Janette A . Moore, nickname (GG) of Shrewsbury, Pa., who died at age 93 on April 10th, 2025 following a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones. The funeral will be a ceremony, remembering Janette in the presence of close family. We will miss her very much.

Janette was born in 1932 and raised in Kentucky with one brother, Dougie. Her parents were hard working farmers who also owned a small grocery store for a short period of time. Jan was married to Wilmer Gene Moore in Kentucky and was the mother of two children, girls, Donnie and Candy. Jan worked as a waitress most of her life and lived in several different states including Kentucky, Louisiana, California, Maryland and Pennsylvania. She loved her family and friends from work and enjoyed traveling on summer vacations. Jan was widowed at age 47 while living in California. After a few years she moved back to Kentucky to be near her parents. She then moved to Pennsylvania to be close to her daughter Candy and family for the remainder of her years.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck-Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (at beltway exit 26) on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, 9 - 10 AM, where the service will begin at 10AM. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
