On February 23, 2025, James S. Watson died peacefully in Towson, MD. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Mays Watson and is the devoted father of Roberta "Bobbie" Watson, Christina Watson, Jamie Watson, Michael Watson and his wife Anna, and the late Elizabeth Watson. He is the cherished grandfather of Jake Watson and Mariela Watson. Jim is predeceased by his brothers Lee, Bobby, and Joe Watson. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family-owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd. on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception 200 Ware Avenue Towson, MD 21204. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to ORC for Orphans www.orcfororphans.com will be appreciated.
