On May 10, 2025, James Arthur Nelson, beloved husband of Sandra L. Nelson; devoted father of Gwen R. Nelson and her companion Tommy, Deborah A. Ribb and her husband Paul and Michael S. Nelson and his wife Amanda; loving grandfather of Riley N. McWilliams, Austin J. Nelson, Ethan M. McWilliams, Ryan M. Nelson, Evan S. Nelson and the late Garrett L. Nelson; dear brother of Wayne Nelson, Cathy Rinker and Larry Nelson; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Sunday, May 18th, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church on Monday, May 19th, at 10:30 AM. Interment, Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
