On June 15, 2012 James Karas; devoted husband of the late Despenea Angeledes Karas; loving father of Sharon Frangiskakis and husband John, Ernest Karas, and Savas Karas and wife Dawn; loving grandfather of six granddaughters Despenea Tsamoutalis, Georgeanna Clancy, Nikki Kastanakis, Tessa, Sophia, and Kayla Karas; and one great granddaughter Daphne Clancy . Also survived by a longtime beloved companion Carol Taylor.

Mr. Karas will lie-in-state at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation on Monday 10:30 – 11:00 AM, at which time a Funeral Service will begin. Entombment Parkwood Cemetery.
