On September 19, 2009, JAMES E HERNDON; beloved husband of the late Norma Jean Herndon (nee McGrady); devoted and loving father of Theresa Herndon Mowry and "son" David L. Mowry; dear son of the late Ottie R. Herndon and Katherine Herndon (nee Gabbert); dear brother of John Herndon, Mary Maher, Bonnie Wellman and Larry Herndon and the late Junior Herndon, Janet Perry, and Bob Herndon. Also survived by loving grand dog Brie and predeceased by grand dog Torie. Survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends.


Funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue, on Thursday at 11:30 A.M. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday and Wednesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.
