On April 4, 2010, James M. Giza, veteran Staff Sergeant of Patton's Third Army in the European Theatre in WWII, beloved husband of the late Frances Giza (nee
Przybylska); devoted father of James G. Giza and his wife Joanne, Paul E. Giza and his wife Barbara Thomas and Richard J. Giza and his wife Valerie; loving grandfather of Emily, Charlotte, Jimmy, Sarah and Richard, Jr. and great-grandfather of Jack; dear brother of the late Agnes Jakubowski. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the family owned Leonard J. Ruck, Inc. Funeral Home 5305 Harford Road (at Echodale) on Thursday, 10am. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236 in memory of Mrs.Frances Giza.
