Helen E. McGuire (nee Haslbeck) died peacefully on October 22, 2010 surrounded by those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Walter F. McGuire, Sr., great-granddaughter Josephine and all 5 of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Walter McGuire, Jr., Jack McGuire and Mary Jo Greenawalt, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Mrs. McGuire will lie in state at the Stella Maris Chapel on Thursday from 10:00 until 10:30 at which time a funeral mass will be celebrated. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
