On September 19, 2009, HELEN L. CHELCHOWSKI (nee Hopkins); beloved wife of Edward F. Chelchowski; loving daughter of Veronica Kovalchek and her husband Walter and the late Donald Hopkins; dear sister of Barbara Joyce Ayd and her husband Patrick, and Phyllis Ann Hopkins; sister-in-law of Bill Chelchowski and his wife Joanne; cherished aunt of Benn, Alisha, Greg, Brandi, Zachary, and Ryan. Also survived by her lovable doggies Heidi, Gretel, and Elsa.


A funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue, on Friday at 11 AM. Cremation to follow. Friends may call on Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM and Friday from 10 to 11 AM. The family requests contributions be made to the Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211
