On February 8, 2025, at the age of 80 (1944-2025), Harvey Charles MacKinnon was called home. Harvey leaves behind  his beloved wife of 48yrs, June Jones MacKinnon, devoted father of Dawn MacKinnon Faro and her husband Jason, Scott MacKinnon and his wife Amber; loving grandfather (Pop) of Daphne, J.D, Jasmine and her husband Anthony, Emma and Olivia; dear sister Jean MacKinnon Perkinson and her husband Roy, dear brother of Robert MacKinnon and his wife the late Linda Jones MacKinnon, his dear sister-in-law, Georgia Jones Prichard and her husband Ralph, his dear brother-in-law Robert Jones and his wife Gail, preceded in death by his sisters and their husbands Ruth MacKinnon Hans and her husband Joseph, Eva MacKinnon Malozi and her husband Louis; also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his unique sense of humor and his love for animals.

Visitation will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7922 Wise Ave. on Sunday, February 16th, from 2-6 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 17th, at 11:00 AM.

Per Harvey's wishes, in lieu of flowers, he asked that donations be made in his name to the First Lutheran Church of Gray Manor Disaster Relief Fund, 212 Oakwood Rd. Dundalk, MD 21222.
