On November 20, 2010 Gwendoline L. Ayres (nee Ratcliffe) beloved wife of the late John O. Ayres; devoted mother of Sharon M. Harrison and her husband Serge; dear grandmother of Lori Johnson and her husband John; dear great-grandmother of Christina Harrison, Dylan and Emily Hankewycz, Harly, Reece and Cheyenne Johnson; step-great-grandmother of Sgt. First Class John Johnson, Jr. ; sister of Shirley Ratcliffe and the late Paul, Buford, Glen, Buddy, Bobby and Wayne Ratcliffe, Mabel Fletcher, Myrtle Dalton, Ellen Pollard and Peachie Ratcliffe. Also survived by her friends at the Maples.

Funeral Services will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home,Inc. 1050 York Road(beltway exit 26) on Wednesday, due notice of time. Interment in Mays Chapel Cemetery.
