On October 30, 2012, Gerard "Rod" Joseph Lauer, Jr., beloved son of the late Estelle Victoria (nee Lutz) and Gerard J. Lauer, Sr.; loving father of Amy Lauer and step-father of Michael Smith and his wife Lisa and Charles Smith and his wife Jane; dear brother of Sharon Seiler and her husband Paul, Mary Louise Puopolo and her husband Angelo, Barbara Whicker and her husband Charles, Richard Lauer and Victoria Hamilton and her husband Timothy. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Mr. Lauer's daughter's home on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3PM.
