George Tilghman Meyer. His struggle is over. May he rest in peace. Our beloved Georgie passed from this life on April 17, 2026. He is with God now. He leaves behind his loving wife Constance E. Meyer (nee Bory), his adored children, Robert T. Meyer, daughter Lorie B White and son-in-law Shawn White.  George was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, one grandson and his sister and numerous other loved ones. He was the proud granddad to six beautiful and handsome grandchildren and six great grandchildren, his brother Brian from Chicago, seven sisters-in-law and a very huge extended family.

George was a very talented and skillful mechanic with Best Battery for 38 years. He was also a trusted security guard for The Risteau at Rockland for 13 years, but he made waves while serving in the US Navy during the Cuban missile crisis and blockade. His talents were many, his humor infectious and his love for family and life immeasurable. He will be greatly missed by many loving family, friends, and associates. All we ask is to please pray for him, and that he may finally rest in peace in God's loving arms. Yes George, you can get there from here and always remember "To live in hearts we leave behind is to never die".

The Funeral Service will be held at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd. (Beltway Exit 26), on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 10am. The interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8pm.
