On December 4, 2024, Gary P. Whitener beloved husband of the late Kenodene "Dena" Whitener (nee Rosier); loving father of Greg Whitener and his wife Dena; loving grandfather of Joey and Matt Whitener; dear brother of Anita Costner of Lawndale, N.C. and Dan Whitener. Also survived by nieces and nephews and a special group of neighbors.

Funeral service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Ave on Tuesday December 10, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 PM, Interment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
