On February 5, 2025, Frederick Joseph Engesser, devoted husband of the late Jacquelin Linda Engesser (nee O'Neill); beloved father of Jennifer Elizabeth Engesser (Christian E. Wood) and Kaitlin Marie Engesser (Eric Benjamin Anderson); loving grandfather of Livia Jacquelin Anderson, Eloise Kerstin Anderson, Callan James O'Neill Wood, Cameron Kai Wood and Jacob Benjamin Anderson; dear brother of Mary Jo and Cathy Ann Engesser; dear brother-in-law of Francis Barry O'Neill (Sarah); dear uncle of Kevin and Shaun O'Neill. "Paw Paw" lived his life in the service of others, a playful prankster that was devoted to his friends and family.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, 11 AM, with visitation 10-11AM prior to the service at the Stella Maris Chapel, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, 737 S. Main Street, Mt. Airey, Maryland 21771.
