On July 12, 2009, Frances Elizabeth Whitson(nee Moore) of Abingdon, MD passed away at home peacefully. Wife of the late well-known Baltimore antique dealer Frank Whitson, Frances was a long-time resident of Baltimore. She shared her husband's interest in antiques; both were charter members of The Antique Toy Collectors of America. Frances also was an active member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church for 60 years. She is the devoted mother of Gale Whitson-Schmidt and her husband Don and Sandra Whitson and her husband Ron Van Anda, and the late Elizabeth Scheuerman; mother-in-law of Richard Scheuerman; loving grandmother of Michael Scheuerman and his wife Sheila and Dr. Elizabeth Scheuerman, and great-grandmother of Zachary and Sara Scheuerman. Dear sister of the late Margaret McCreary , Barbara Green, James Moore, Phil Moore and Dickie Moore.

A Funeral Service will be held at the family owned Leonard J. Ruck, Inc. Funeral Home, 5305 Harford Road ( at Echodale) on Wednesday, 11am. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Her family lovingly commends her spirit to God's care with gratitude for her life on Earth.
