On November 17, 2011, Erotoula Karantzalis (nee Stamatacos), beloved wife of the late Gus D. Karantzalis, mother of William, James and Kathy Karantzalis and the late Demetra Gekas, grandmother of Valerie Caggiano, Erin Morris, Niki Dillard, Megan Karantzalis and the late Smyra Gekas, great-grandmother of Gabrielle and Nicholas Morris and Matthew and Samantha Dillard.

Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26A) on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Trisaghion Service will be held on Sunday at 7:30 PM. Mrs. Karantzalis will lie-in-state in the Chapel of the Holy Ressurection at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery on Monday from 10 until 10:30 AM, the funeral hour. Interment in ajoining cemetery.
