On October 11, 2009, EMMA LOUISE STERNER, beloved wife of the late Kenneth F. Sterner, devoted mother of Judith S. Merritt and Kenneth D. Sterner and his wife Barbara Ketchum, loving grandmother of David R. Merritt and his wife Kara. Also survived by other close family members, Carlien Parlett, Jennifer and Greg Sturniolo, Shawn Parlett, Jasmine Cook and Connor Sturniolo.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 11 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, 701 S. Charles St. Mrs. Sterner will lie in state 10 to 11 A.M. Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Wednesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Christ Lutheran Church.
