On April 21, 2011 Elva M. Cook (nee Dawson) age 90 went home to be with the Lord; beloved wife of 50 years of the late Elmer H. Cook, Sr. devoted mother of Margaret V. Spangler and her husband Russ, Vera C. Hinkleman and her husband Thomas and the late Elmer H. Cook, Jr.; loving grandmother of Terry L. Capps and her husband John, Barbara A. Johnson and her husband Donald, Wendy L. Foy and her husband Butch, Tina L. Lure and her husband Mark and Ella M. Reid and her husband John; also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Ave. on Monday and Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Mrs. Cook will lie in state at the Calvary Baptist Church 7321 Manchester Rd. Dundalk, MD 21222 on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM the funeral hour. Interment Moreland Memorial Park.
