Obituary

Elliott Ronald Lipple Sr., 72, of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 3, 2026, after facing ALS with the same grit and humor that carried him through life. He now joins his parents in Heaven.

Born March 10, 1954, Elliott was the son of Paul Andrew Lipple Sr. and Violet Marie (Holmberg) Lipple. On August 30, 1975, he married the love of his life, Theresa (Diem) Lipple, beginning a marriage of 51 years filled with love, family and countless memories.

Elliott lived an active life devoted to providing for his family and making the most of every moment with the people he loved. He built a successful career in home improvement, where his knowledge, skill and dedication earned him a reputation as one of the best in the business. Elliott had a larger-than-life sense of humor that made him unforgettable, and his ability to bring laughter into a room was one of the many things people loved about him. Even more special was the way he made people feel — he had a warm heart and genuine spirit which left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Above all else, Elliott cherished his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took tremendous joy in watching them grow, spending time with them, and creating memories they will carry with them forever. Many of those memories were made on annual family beach vacations, boating on the Chesapeake Bay, and simply being together. For Elliott, those moments with the people he loved most were what life was all about.

Elliott is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Theresa; his three children, Elliott Ronald Lipple Jr. and wife Heidi, Erin Lipple and husband Mason Walsh, and Wesley Lipple and wife Melissa; and his seven cherished grandchildren, Capri, Brandon, Calista, Elliott, Lucia, Catalina, and Porter. He is also survived by his four siblings — Nancy Ann (Lipple) Evans, Louise Carol Lipple, Paul Andrew Lipple Jr., and his twin sister, Elaine Ruby Lipple — along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
