On Friday, February 17, 2012 in Timonium, MD. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edward Hanlon. She was loved beyond measure by her children, Philip (Mikie) Hanlon, Joan Dudley, Marty (Brian) Bystry, Mary (Brad) Elkins, Nancy (John Francis) Hanlon, Thomas (Carol) Hanlon and Mike (Susan) Hanlon; her twenty-one grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren and her brother Dr. E. Philip Trapp. Born October 26, 1921, raised in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Eleanor moved to Washington, DC upon graduation from Kent State University to aid in the war effort as a cartographer for the U.S. Army Map Service. She devoted her life to her family and her Catholic Faith.
