On March 15, 2012 Edward William Sams, Sr., beloved husband of Carolyn J. Sams (nee Wiesand), devoted father of Edward W. Sams, Jr., Diane Holt, and the late Susan C. Sams, dear brother of Richard, Kenneth, Robert, and Alfred Sams, cherished grandfather of five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the First Lutheran Church of Gray Manor (212 Oakwood Road). Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Sunday 3-5 7-9 PM. Interment Gardens of Faith Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Gray Manor 212 Oakwood Road Dundalk, MD 21222.
