On April 12, 2026, Dorothy "Ebbie" Wheeler died peacefully in Towson, MD. She is predeceased by her parents John B. Hart and Charlotte Long Hart, and by her brother John E. Hart. Dorothy is survived by other family members, friends, and her Trinity Episcopal Church family.   Ebbie sang in Trinity's choir with her mother as a young teen and continued to be an active member of the choir for many years.  Ebbie was also a devoted volunteer and consigner with Trinity's Surprise Shop.

A Memorial Service and inurnment will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church 120 Allegheny Ave Towson, MD 21204 on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her beloved Trinity Episcopal Church.
