On June 1, 2025 Dorothy Mae McElroy passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Dorothy is survived by her devoted children Velda Gray White (Curtis), James Randy Locklear, Valerie Jean Kidwell, and Belinda Jill Baxter (Peter); loving grandchildren Caroline Howell, Victoria Willey, Elizabeth Russell, Jordan Baxter, Tyler Kidwell, and Paige Willingham; 10 cherished great-grandchildren; dear sisters Carolyn Meekins, Tammy Sampson and dear brother William Sampson.

A funeral service will be held at the family-owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc. 7922 Wise Avenue on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 7 PM. Friends may visit on Tuesday June 10, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
