On May 15, 2025, Dorothy Mae Diehl (nee Young) passed away peacefully in Parkville, MD. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert August Diehl, Sr.; devoted mother of Robert A. Diehl, Jr, and his wife Melissa, Randall A. Diehl and his wife Melissa, Rodney A. Diehl and his wife Valerie, and Robin A. Gundersen and her husband Gabriel; loving grandmother of Megan Diehl, Josie, Isabelle, and Ava Pemberton, Hannah and Benjamin Diehl, and Griffin, Gretchen, and Grayson Gundersen.

Friends may visit at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26) on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 4:00-7:00pm, and where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:30am. The interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Defenders of Animal Rights Inc. (www.adopt-a-pet.org), Susan G. Komen (www.komen.org) or the Special Olympics Maryland (www.somd.org).
