On October 19, 2011 Doris A. Arendt; born in Baltimore, MD.; beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Arendt, Jr. married 71 years; devoted mother of A. Wesley Arendt, III and his wife Margaret, Dennison C. Houck and her husband David; dear sister of Alvin Hayes and Freda Wagner; loving grandmother of Lorri and Brian Shepherd, Jenifer and Gene Teel, Christian and Rebecca Arendt, Jeffrey Arendt, David and Tina Houck and Andrew and Shinae Houck. Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Arendt will lie in state at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sweet Air on Monday 11:30-12PM. at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
