On March 30, 2026, Donald Edwin Hicks, passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Maryland. Survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Phyllis Hicks. Loving father of Kimberly Schaefer (Jerome), Mark Hicks (Indiana), Tracey Hicks and Kerri Hicks. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donald was a proud graduate of Johns Hopkins. He owned a civil engineering business for over 40 years. He was an active member at Immaculate Conception and enjoyed spending time at the gym.
Family and friends are welcome to the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home (Beltway exit 26) on Wednesday April 8 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A funeral service to take place on Thursday April 9 at 11 AM at Immaculate Conception. Entombment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
