On September 20, 2026 Delores Jean Wood passed away. Delores was born on July 26, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to her late parents John and Mary Shiflett. Delores is the beloved wife of the late John H. Wood; devoted mother of Rebecca J. Wallace (Matthew), Gregory A. Wood (Misty), the late Pamela K. Wood, and the late Robbie L. Wood; cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Ronald Shiflet, Sr., Gerald Shiflett, and Clyde Shiflett.

A grave side service will be held on Friday September 25, 2026 at 11:30 AM At Holly Hill Memorial Gardens (10201 Bird River Road, Baltimore, MD 21220). In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org
