On April 6, 2025, David Gates passed away peacefully at his home. He is survived by his loving wife Sheila Lynn Gates. Devoted father of Jill Noel Lloyd and her husband Kevin Lloyd,  Dustin David William Gates and his wife Elizabeth Gates, and Kimberly Greenwood. Cherished grandfather of Zachary Knotts, Cassidy Knotts, Spencer Knotts, Ashton Greenwood and Connor Greenwood. Also survived by many cousins. David is predeceased by his brothers Harvey Gates and Earl Gates.
